Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Vacuum Cleaner.
Regularly Clean the Filters
To ensure optimal performance, regularly clean the HEPA filter and the outlet filter. If the filters are clogged and cannot be cleaned adequately, replace them with new ones. This helps maintain strong suction power and prevents overheating.
Empty the Dust Bin Frequently
Once the dust reaches the full mark, empty the dust bin to prevent blockages and maintain suction power. Ensure the dust bin is properly reassembled by aligning the dust pack cover correctly and listening for a 'click' sound when returning it to the vacuum.
Inspect and Clean the Rotating Floor Brush
Regularly check the rotating floor brush for strings, hair, and carpet fibers, which can cause tangling and reduce effectiveness. Also, inspect the drive belt for wear or damage and replace it if necessary.
Check for Blockages
If you notice reduced suction or overheating, check the hose, air passageway, and inlet for obstructions. Remove any debris to ensure smooth operation.
Handle with Care
When rewinding the power cord, hold the plug to prevent it from whipping. Avoid using the vacuum cleaner to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, or in areas where these substances may be present.
